How we are funded

Paid for quality.
Paid for continuity.

Socially United is paid for the work it does. That is the point, not a compromise.

We charge for operations, software, production and subscriptions. We are not trying to get rich on this. We are trying to be good enough at it to still be here in ten years, and to hold a standard that free work cannot hold.

Unpaid support is fragile. It arrives when someone has a spare quarter and disappears when they do not. The organizations we back cannot plan around that. Being paid is what lets us keep senior people on the work, answer the phone in year three, and give strategy and board service away without asking anyone for a favour.

So the money does two jobs. It buys quality, because the best people are not volunteers full time. And it buys continuity, because sustained support is the only kind that actually changes an outcome.

Paid for quality

Senior people, on the work, accountable for the result. Not a rotating cast of spare hours.

Paid for continuity

Support that is still there in year three, when the launch excitement is long gone and the work is hardest.

Strategy stays pro bono

Board service and strategic counsel are contributed. Being paid elsewhere is exactly what makes that possible.

Priced to the organization

Terms are set by size and need. A clinic with four staff is not quoted like a national program.

That is where your money goes.

Into senior people who stay on the work, and support that is still there in year three.
